After School STEAM students had a DINO-mite time being paleontologists last Friday at the OMSI Dino event! Students learned about prehistoric dinosaurs, fossils, and paleontology. They even did some fossil digging and put together a dinosaur from pieces! Umatilla High School students visited the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave (LIGO) Observatory at Hanford yesterday! Students enjoyed meeting LIGO scientists, participating in interactive science experiments, and taking a walking tour of the observatory.
