Congratulations to Henry! Henry was this week's Fab Friday winner at McNary Heights.
McNary Heights's goal is to improve attendance with Fab Fridays. Every Friday, MHES will celebrate students who are in school that day with a drawing. Students in attendance will receive a raffle ticket, and one lucky winner will be chosen to receive a prize. This week's prize was lunch with vice principal Mr. Young!

Congratulations, UHS Wrestling! Justus took 1st at 220 and is a District Champion! Luis earned 2nd at 220 and Jose took 3rd. All three wrestlers are headed to State. We are proud of you, Vikings!
Clara Brownell Middle School students spent the day yesterday rocking the MAPs tests! Several fun activities were planned throughout the day, including a special lunch, a dress-for-success dress-up day, snacks, and an extended lunch and recess to encourage students to do their best! A majority of students were able to complete their testing and many students also met their growth targets! CBMS celebrated students who met their growth goals with various incentives. Thank you to our students and staff for all your hard work! We are proud of you!

¡Los estudiantes de la Escuela Secundaria Clara Brownell pasaron el día de ayer sacudiendo las pruebas de MAP! Se planearon varias actividades divertidas a lo largo del día, incluyendo un almuerzo especial, un día disfrazarse para el éxito, y un almuerzo y recreo extendidos para animar a los estudiantes a hacer lo mejor que puedan. ¡La mayoría de los estudiantes pudieron completar sus pruebas y muchos estudiantes también alcanzaron sus objetivos de crecimiento! CBMS celebró a los estudiantes que alcanzaron sus metas de crecimiento con varios incentivos. ¡Gracias a nuestros estudiantes y personal por todo su trabajo! ¡Estamos orgullosos de ti!

Umatilla High School’s Chess Club members; Cooper, Eden, Chance, Chase, and Ian competed in the Regional 23 Tournament for Oregon’s Chess for Success Organization this past weekend! Two members, Cooper and Chance, tied for third place, making them eligible for the state tournament this April. Way to go, Vikings!

Families enjoyed food, music, face painting, and connecting with various resource organizations. Families also viewed dance performances from attendees of the Migrant Education Program Folkloric dance classes. ¡Qué otra gran noche familiar! Gracias a todos los amigos y familias que nos acompañaron en nuestra Noche Familiar y Evento de Recursos el viernes pasado. Las familias disfrutaron de la comida, la música, la pintura de caras y se conectaron con varias organizaciones de recursos.
