McNary Heights' latest Food Tasting was Broccoli-Raisin Salad! This salad was made from broccoli, raisins, bacon, and a mayonnaise sauce. Students who enjoyed this food item got to take the recipe home!

Tri-County is a band festival where small high school band programs in Umatilla, Morrow, and Sherman counties come together to perform in one big band directed by a guest conductor. Pilot Rock hosted this year's band festival on April 5th.

Yesterday Key Club members from the Umatilla High School hosted a Red Cross Blood Drive! Their goal was to collect 20 units of blood, and they exceeded this goal with 27 units. We are so grateful for all the donors who helped achieve this goal and for helping save lives (one unit of blood can save up to three lives)! We would also like to thank our Key Club for hosting this event and supporting donors throughout the process!

Umatilla High School’s National Honor Society completed its annual service trip to Twin Rocks Friends Camp this month! Students helped the camp with landscaping, clearing paths, and constructing small projects. Excellent work, Vikings!

This week was the start of McNary Heights’s Marathon! The marathon encourages students to run/walk the track during their first recess. After every ten laps they collect a toe token!

Registration forms for session four of the STEAM Academy are now available at all three schools! Forms must be turned in by Thursday, March 23rd. Late forms will be accepted; however, the first date of attendance and class placement will depend on availability.
