Congratulations to the Umatilla FTC teams who are advancing to the upcoming Oregon FTC Championships! Three teams qualified for the championships at the Umatilla FTC qualifier on Saturday, January 27th. We are proud of you teams, 7470, 7474, and 7497! CBMS had a total of 14 teams compete at the Umatilla qualifier. We appreciate the support from the high school robotics team, alumni, and former robotics parents who volunteered their time to help run the event and make it possible for our students!

Tres equipos se clasificaron para el campeonato en el clasificatorio de Umatilla FTC el sábado 27 de enero. ¡Estamos orgullosos de ustedes, equipos 7470, 7474 y 7497! Officer Wilson shared important knowledge on the risks of vaping, and our students got to test their understanding with a 10-question quiz. They were then entered into a raffle. Congratulations to Elaina Jewett from 7th grade and Jacoby Jaimez-Leight from 6th grade for winning the quiz contest – they both won gift cards! Huge thank you to Officer Wilson for promoting the dangers of vaping to students at CBMS!
