Yesterday was a special day as we officially broke ground on our new 4-6 grade school building and CTE facility at Umatilla High! We are thrilled to have reached this exciting milestone. Congratulations to the recipients of the 2024 Promise Scholarships! We are proud of you, Gianna, Abrahan, Jade, and Alexa (not pictured). Each recipient will be awarded $100, which will be held in trust until their graduation from Umatilla High School. Additionally, these students will receive an extra $100 for each year they remain on track to graduate from UHS, with a total potential award of up to $500. Thank you to the Umatilla High School Alumni Association for your ongoing commitment to recognizing and rewarding students for their excellence in school! – ¡Felicitaciones a los beneficiarios de las Becas Promesa 2024! Last week, CBMS hosted a promotion ceremony and dance to celebrate our 8th graders' transition from middle school to high school. Today was Fly Up Day for our 8th-graders! They toured UHS, learned about available extracurricular activities, and registered for classes. They also played fun games and worked on goal setting to be ready for high school next year! – ¡Hoy fue el Día de Fly Up para nuestros estudiantes de octavo grado! Our 5th-grade students had an exciting day exploring CBMS during Fly Up Day!
