Nahomy discovered her passion for education while volunteering at Head Start during high school. Inspired by the incredible opportunities available in STEAM programs, she is committed to ensuring students have access to enriching experiences that she didn’t have growing up. As the Site Coordinator, Nahomy oversees the daily operations of the afterschool program at MHES, managing activities, staff, and volunteers to create a fun and supportive environment. She is amazed by the creativity and intelligence of the students, watching them tackle projects beyond what she imagined at their age. Mrs. Fritz's Food & Travel Class 2 took a fun and educational trip to the Umatilla Chamber of Commerce! Students were each assigned regions of Oregon and are working on a special project to promote tourism in their areas. They had the opportunity to ask questions, explore marketing materials, and gather valuable information to attract visitors to their regions.
