Who said testing couldn't be fun? At CBMS this week, students not only participated in MAPs testing but also had fun assemblies to give them the motivation they need to be successful. Today's assembly ended with an all-school dance the students learned in Mr. Contreras's PE classes!

CBMS students from Mrs. Pottorff’s Career Exploration & Student Success class are climbing branches to new heights! They are collaboratively building a Strengths Tree, which helps them recognize their individual strengths, overcome obstacles, and share their talents with their peers.

Youth football practice tonight was interrupted by a minor with a weapon. Police quickly responded and addressed the situation and apprehended the minor. As a precaution, all high school sports students were secured in the high school during the incident. All is well now. Thank you, UPD and UHS staff, for your quick response.
