Due to icy roads and inclement weather, all Umatilla schools will be on a three hour delay tomorrow, Wednesday, January 17. Please make a backup plan in case cancellation becomes necessary. We will drive again in the morning and provide additional updates by 8am. Three hour delay simply means three hours later than normal.

Registrations for session three of the STEAM Academy of Umatilla are now open! Registration forms are due by January 18th. Forms are available at all three schools and the district office. Late forms will be accepted; however, start date will depend on availability. Session three will begin on Monday, January 29th.

The Burns vs. Umatilla basketball games originally scheduled for this Friday, January 12th, have been canceled due to inclement weather in the Burns area. The games will be rescheduled for January 30th, with the girls varsity game at 4:00 pm and the boys varsity game at 5:30 pm.

Umatilla Schools appreciated the opportunity to share Federally Funded programs with Senator Wyden during his recent town hall at Umatilla High School. Our food service, after-school and robotics programs are all supported with Federal dollars and we appreciate the support for Umatilla students.

For all 7th and 8th grade girls interested in playing basketball there will tryouts this Monday, January 8th, through Wednesday, January 10th. Tryouts will be from 3:00 pm to 5:00pm at the CBMS gym.

What a fun day it was at McNary Heights! The Grinch made a surprise visit to the classrooms, the first graders enjoyed a ride on the Polar Express, and all the students got to wear their pajamas to school!
