Ensuring the safety and well-being of our students is a top priority. We would like to remind families of the district’s policy regarding medication self-administration at school and during school-sponsored activities. Please review the following guidelines:
Permission Required: Students must have completed and signed paperwork, approved by the appropriate staff, to carry and self-administer medications. Please visit the office to obtain this paperwork. Once the paperwork has been completed:
Medications must be stored in their original container or bottle.
Prescription medications, including inhalers, must have the prescription label attached.
Office Storage Option: Parents/guardians may choose to have medications stored and administered by office staff instead. For this option, please contact the school office to begin the process and complete the necessary paperwork.
