Umatilla High School senior Briseida Mendoza recently earned Teen First Place at the Pendleton Center for the Arts’ Open Regional Art Show with her piece titled “Lost in My Thoughts.” Her artwork was selected out of a total of 167 submissions by artists across the region.
The Open Regional Art Exhibit is a long-standing annual showcase that highlights the talent of local artists of all skill levels. Briseida’s piece, along with all other entries, will be on display through April 25, 2025, at the Pendleton Center for the Arts, located at 214 North Main Street, Pendleton, OR 97801. The exhibit is open to the public Tuesday through Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM, and Saturdays from 12 PM to 4 PM.
