VALE 56, UMATILLA 25 — No. 2-ranked Vale lived up to its billing with an Eastern Oregon League road win over Umatilla. 

Vale, which ran its win streak to 12 games, jumped out to a 13-6 lead in the first quarter and never looked back. Its lead grew to 29-12 at the half, and a 20-9 scoring spurt in the third put the game out of reach.

Jordyn Escamilla led Umatilla (10-7 overall, 2-2 EOL) with nine points, while Shay McCallister added six points.

Elli Jacobs led Vale (16-1, 5-0) with 15 points, with Kesley Stepleton adding 12.
