UMATILLA 33, RIVERSIDE 32 (OT) — The Vikings outscored the Pirates 5-4 in overtime for an Eastern Oregon League road win.

Umatilla (9-6 overall, 1-1 EOL) led 6-3 in the first quarter, then held Riverside scoreless in th second for a 15-3 lead.

The Pirates (6-9, 1-2) came back with a 15-4 run in the third quarter to pull within 19-18, then outscored the Vikings 10-9 in the fourth to force overtime.

Jordyn Escamilla led the Vikings wth nine points, while Shay McCallister added seven and Ruby Chavez six.

Justein Tido had a game-high 13 points for the Pirates, while Rocio Garay added 11.

RIVERSIDE 87, UMATILLA 78 (OT) — Cooper Cemore scored nine of his 37 points in overtime to help the Pirates to an Eastern Oregon League home win over theVikings. 

Umatilla (11-4 overall, 0-2 EOL) trailed 43-27 at the half, then went on a 46-30 scoring spree in the soon half to tie the score at 73-73 and force overtime.

Riverside (14-4, 3-0), which has won seven in a row, also got 17 points from Cougar Philippi, and 10 each from Izaak Mendoza and Jesus Peña.

Mike McGee led the Vikings with 27 points and 10 rebounds, while Carter Monahan added 22 points, and David Garcia 10 points and six rebounds. Micheal Montez handed out 11 assists and had seven rebounds.
