UMATILLA 73, GOLDENDALE 56 — The Vikings finished play at the Columbia River Clash with a victory over the Timberwolves to run their record to 5-0 on the season. Umatilla jumped out to a 25-10 lead, and stretched its lead to 63-36 after three quarters. Goldendale went on a 20-10 run in the fourth quarter, but it wouldn’t be near enough. Mike McGee led the Vikings with 15 points and three assists, while Carter Monahan added 14 points, and Micheal Montez had 12 points, eight assists and four steals. Davis Raymond had eight points and six rebounds.

UMATILLA 52, GOLDENDALE 30 — EvaLynn Campos and Alyiah Howard each scored 14 points to lead the Vikings to a win over the visiting Timberwolves at the Columbia River Clash. Umatilla (4-1) held a 9-4 lead after the first quarter, then went on a 26-17 run over the next two quarters for a 35-21 lead. A 17-9 scoring spree in the fourth sealed the win for the Vikings. Kelly Smith led Goldendale with 10 points.
