BURNS 3, UMATILLA 0 — The Hilanders improved to 9-0 in Eastern Oregon League play with a 26-6, 25-4, 25-11 home win over the Vikings. “Certainly not our best showing as we got to Burns after a long bus ride and an early start this morning,” Umatilla coach Samantha Erz said. “Though we struggled, our third set had improvements as our younger players worked hard on the court. Better movement with hit and tip coverage.” Setter Sara Wilson had two assists, one kill, one block and one ace for the Vikings (0-19 overall, 0-8 EOL), while Nya Rodarte had three kills.
