NYSSA 22, UMATILLA 0 — The Bulldogs shut out the Vikings on the road in Eastern Oregon League action for their second win of the season. After a scoreless first half, Nyssa (2-4 overall, 1-0 EOL) scored twice in the third quarter and once in the fourth. Brayden Draper scored on an 8-yard run to open the scoring for the Bulldogs, while Julian Rios followed with an 8-yard touchdown run for a 14-0 lead. In the fourth, Draper hit Jose Neri for a 26-yard scoring pass to finish the scoring. For Umatilla (1-5 overall, 0-2 EOL), Linkin Zamudio had 17 carries for 61 yards, Tristan Trujillo threw for 70 yards, with Maddex Caballero on the receiving end of two passes for 59 yards. Zamudio had one catch for 11 yards. Defensively, Zamudio had nine tackles, Octavian Salas Torres hadfive, and Troy Frost and Briar Claunch each had four.

PENDLETON 1, UMATILLA 0 — Jack DeGrofft scored the game’s only goal in leading the Bucks to their first win of the season with a home victory over the Vikings. Freshman goalkeeper finished with three saves for Pendleton (1-9) overall. For Umatilla (4-6-2), Abrahan Garcia finished with three saves.

PENDLETON 6, UMATILLA 1 — Kelsey Graham had a hat trick to lead the Bucks to a road win over the Vikings. “Took us a little bit to get going, but got our feet under us in the second half and played better,” Pendleton coach Kiana Rickman said. Presley Greenwalt and Ava Jackson each had a goal and an assist for the Bucks, while Chais Surber added a goal, and Halle Pederson had two assists. Goalkeeper Citlalli Garcia finished with two saves for Pendleton (4-5-1 overall). For the Vikings (4-8), Yareli Coria scored off an assist by Alexa Garcia, while goalkeeper Rashayla McCallister had 14 saves.
