MCLOUGHLIN 8, UMATILLA 0 — Riley Herndon had a hat trick to lead the Pioneers to a Special District 5 home win over the Vikings. Sinai Martinez added two goals, while Daniella Meza and Alicia Carranza each had one goal. Goalkeeper Ali Garcia had five saves for Mac-Hi, which improved to 8-2 in the SD5 standings. Rashayla McCallister finished with 15 saves for the Vikings (4-7 SD5).

MCLOUGHLIN 8, UMATILLA 0 — The Vikings held the Pioneers scoreless in the first half, but Mac-Hi came out kicking in the second half for a Special District 6 home win. Mike Wolden scored four goals for the Pioneers, while Danny Gonzalez had two goals and two assists. Giovanny Sandoval and Jose Hernandez each had a goal, and Damian Castruita had two assists. Goalkeeper Cristian Hernandez had five saves. Abrahan Garcia finished with five saves for Umatilla (4-5-2). The Pioneers (8-3 overall) moved to 7-0 in league play, while the Vikings fell to 3-4-1 in league play. Mac-Hi will play Friday at Four Rivers, while Umatilla will play Thursday at Pendleton.
